During this Autumn Academy, the concept of ‘collectivity’ was explored and developed by linking it to the socio-ecological issues of our time. Students (Bachelor and Master) from KASK & Conservatorium gathered over a long weekend in MDD to theoretically and practically explore the question: who and what are we talking about when we say “we”?
 

The Autumn Academy was led by members of it is part of an ensemble and guest of honour Isabel Burr Raty in collaboration with KASK’s Performance department and Laurens Otto, curator MDD.

 

Isabel proposed transmaterial superpositions in the shape of performative capsules, between the nomadic (Power Plant) Village and the activities taking place, under the guidance of the collective It is part of an ensemble, in the museum spaces including the gardens. In order to queer humanistic concepts of human and nature, twerk 3D metaphysics and tune into cosmic/earthly rhizomes for collective visions.
