THE SPINE

installation performance

A living path woven into the earth

inviting the flow of personal visions

to merge with the memories of the land

molding a collective earth body

that allows the possibility of repair to emerge

THE SPINE offers a relational interface with the territories it inhabits, consciously interweaving people within the textures of the very soil. Feeling like a form of socio-environmental acupuncture, THE SPINE gently punctuates and revitalizes the earth's body, allowing us to collectively (re)generate. Tracing a pathway through land, this installation resembles a living geoglyph within a ceremonial unit.

Formed through communal and intimate bonds, THE SPINE is setup and activated across continents, where we discover how restorative processes can be shared. Together, we craft counter-systemic remedies that challenge the imperial logic of land, and carry the silenced stories of territories into the future.
